Legacy Habitat Management offer a wide range of services relating to the creation of boundaries and access routes for public, vehicles or livestock.
We have experience of traditional techniques and methods such as dry stone walling, hedge laying and large contract hedge planting to create heritage boundaries to complement sensitive landscapes. Hedge planting may also be employed as a means of creating, not just a boundary, but as a means of increasing the biodiversity of an area by creating habitat for birds and other wildlife.
We have also worked for landowners to create footpaths, byways, vehicle and livestock access ways. This has often formed part of a fencing contract or as a standalone project. We have worked with water authorities, city and county councils and other landowners to improve public access by constructing new footpaths, including steps, gateways, bridges and other necessary elements of such a project.
Legacy Habitat Management will work closely with you from the design stage through to construction and commissioning of any construction. We have experience of working in public places where the health & safety of the general public are of paramount importance.
