Legacy Habitat Management offer professional large contract walling and stone barrier creation utilising a variety of styles, from contemporary feature walls or traditional walling techniques.

Legacy Habitat Management have the expertise and experience to carry out large scale walling projects and other stone barriers across the UK. Legacy Habitat Management’s formative years were spent dry-stone walling in and around the Peak District National Park, where traditional limestone and gritstone drystone walls form an important and historical feature of the working landscape. We have installed up to 1km of continuous dry stone wall in a single project across Derbyshire countryside.

This knowledge and experience of stone boundaries has extended to creating feature wall structures in recreation or leisure facilities. In 2002 Legacy Habitat Management completed a feature decorative wall, incorporating wrought ironwork decoration, integrated stone plinth seating and other decorative features as part of inner city regeneration works for Sheffield City Council.

Legacy Habitat Management have carried out many dry stone walling projects in and around the Peak District National Park for Peak District National Park Authority, Water Authorities and private landowners. We can deliver all aspects of the work including delivery of local stone that will be in-keeping with the surroundings and any existing walls in the area to maintain continuity in the landscape.

Legacy Habitat Management work to a strict health & safety policy that ensures the safety of its staff is not compromised at any time whilst not being prohibitive towards completion of works. All staff are trained in manual handling best practices and where possible lifting or carrying of materials will be carried out by machine or qualified lifting equipment to prevent personal injury. All work will be carried out in accordance to method statements and risk assessments which will be monitored on an on-going basis throughout the course of any project.
