Legacy Habitat Management are experienced in creating, restoring and re-profiling of habitat ditches for water voles and other aquatic mammals.
Having worked with a wide range of clients we have created water vole ditches as stand alone projects or as part of larger mitigation projects such as water vole fencing contracts. We have a team of experienced excavator drivers who are familiar with the requirements needed to recreate suitable habitat for water voles.
All of our machine operators hold relevant plant certificates and have knowledge of working in sensitive environments such as SSSI's and where there may be a presence of protected flora and fauna. We also have experience of working in close proximity to water bodies and the health and safety considerations that this demands.
