Legacy Habitat Management have always applied the highest quality standards to all their work, and it's clear that their recent expansion has not compromised this. We have every confidence in their environmental credentials and their care for the sites on which they work, including the role they play in maintaining good relations with our neighbours and visitors.

Laing O’Rourke Infrastructure had been commissioned to install 21km of gas pipeline across the Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire country side. To protect the high local newt population, Legacy Habitat Management were contracted to install newt fencing for the entire pipeline corridor. Legacy demonstrated a high level of workmanship and flexibility throughout the project. The quality of the fencing material has meant that minimal repairs have been necessary, even with a moderate level of abuse. The overall professional approach and friendly manner of Legacy impressed us all and we will have no doubts about offering them further work.

Rhododendron Clearance at Shorne Wood

Legacy Habitat Management have done an excellent job in clearing the 21 hectares of Rhododendron at Shorne Woods Country Park. The site has very high visitor numbers and high levels of public access as well as being a site of special scientific interest, Legacy have done an excellent job in taking this into consideration when carrying out the works. They have had a very flexible approach as each area had different restrictions including ponds, dense coppice woodland, organic grazing land and ancient woodland with many specimen veteran trees. They were also able to adapt their methodology as the project evolved over the five year period. Their health and safety approach was excellent in all areas. As a result of the clearance and subsequent annual spraying we have seen very limited re-growth across the site.
