Legacy Habitat Management Ltd have successfully executed major contracts with national & multinational utility companies and continue to maintain ongoing working relationships for regular habitat maintenance work with many.

Our relationships with utility companies has seen us procure works that have included newt fencing and demarcation fencing on gas & water pipeline corridors, vegetation clearance works and habitat manipulation on power station sites, including translocation of wildlife habitat on ash storage compounds, creation of pond & wetland areas, including public access provision, Water vole fencing and ditch habitat creation works on power station. Ongoing regular maintenance works include reed bed management, vegetation management and fencing works.

All of our staff understand that each utility work site has its own health and safety requirements and we ensure that all of our staff meet these needs prior to commencement of works. All staff hold current drug and alcohol screening certificates, relevant permits and operator tickets, EUSR qualifications (where necessary), and are familiar with working under permit to dig systems, point of work risk assessments and other site specific safe work systems.
